Passionate about bringing people, stories, and ideas together, I am eager to contribute to a dynamic organization dedicated to creating vibrant communities, connections, and experiences.  My diverse background spans exhibition design and curation, arts education, creative placemaking, community engagement, project management, marketing, and editorial experience. My unique skills enable me to approach challenges with creativity and confidence. My background in the community as a maker and educator, paired with my expertise in growing community partnerships, places me in a position to foster success as part of a collaborative team.

Work Experience

Project Manager; October 2025 – present

Intersection

I ensure the timely and successful delivery of creative projects to meet customer needs and objectives for clients in Muncie and beyond, carefully prioritizing and managing multiple projects to ensure project dates and timelines are kept up to date. I serve as the connection between clients and the team, organizing project requirements, goals, and updates to make clear paths of activity. I review creative work before delivering to clients and collaborate with Intersection account managers on new creative projects and develop scope and team assignments.

It’s my responsibility to communicate with outside media, printers, freelancers, and vendors as well as to collaborate with the Managing Director and freelancers to review procedures and make recommendations to simplify and improve project delivery.

Museum Experience Manager; June 2024 – June 2025

Anderson Museum of Art

I collaborate with artists, community partners, and museum staff to support fundraising efforts through innovative programming and classes. I serve as the connection between artists and the museum, maintaining an artist list and database, sending emails for calls for art, coordinating judging, designing marketing and exhibition materials, and building rapport with artists throughout the Midwest. I contribute to newsletters, manage loan agreements, curate exhibitions, and establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders. I supervise volunteers, the arts education outreach specialist, and interns to create social media strategies, marketing materials, and fundraising campaigns. I love to welcome guests and guide them through the galleries.

Art Education Outreach Specialist; April-May 2024

Anderson Museum of Art

As an Art Education Outreach Specialist, I developed relationships and secured programming contracts with local organizations such as Community Hospital Anderson. I created educational materials and hands-on interactives to support museum exhibitions and enrich visitors’ experience at the museum, as well as designing and teaching engaging art classes to all ages, from preschoolers to seniors. I organized Summer Art Camp, organizing teachers and planning activities.

Maker-In-Residence; Jan. 2023 – Present (extended through 2024 as a Maker Mentor)

Madjax Muncie

  • The Maker-in-Residence program is a year-long appointment in which makers collaborate with other community members to build skills, share tools, and inspire a maker mindset. I developed community-based class experiences that engaged community members and community partners to amplify curiosity, create meaningful connections, and share skills.  
  • 2024 class: Simply Fascinating – Created a festive Kentucky Derby-themed space and taught a group how to make unique fascinators using found objects, feathers, and florals.
  • 2023 classes: 
    • Make Your (Book) Mark – A project that partners with local libraries and creates connections through making and sharing one’s art and ideas. 
    • The Stitched Notebook Project – An adult-oriented project that gives adults a chance to try a new skill, connect, and reap the benefits of “serious play.”

  • The RBG Project Presentation – A craftivism project that empowers women and girls to explore using a craft project to spark conversation and create physical representations of their ideas. 
  • Shining Light into Shadows Presentation – A creative placemaking experience that tells the stories of local women by weaving them into the durable familiar narratives connected to place. 
  • The Women Who Made Me Project – A project that archives and celebrates women’s unique histories, stories, and experiences. 
  • Power Pockets – A collaborative event with Ball State’s Women’s and Gender Studies Department to celebrate Womens Week. Students made felt pockets that held that held objects that represented their personal stories.  
  • Collaborate with clients and their customers through user testing to identify opportunities to improve, refine, and optimize the user experience 
  • Conduct qualitative user experience research through ethnographic studies, journey mapping, ideation sessions, cognitive walkthroughs, persona creation, and design thinking strategies to collect data that provides a deep understanding of nuanced parts of the user experience 
  • Conduct quantitative user experience research through user testing, heuristic evaluation, card sorting, and surveys with tools such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, and Shopify 
  • Create email campaigns to identify and recruit engaged users for studies, providing clients with authentic, representative audiences and ethnographic data 
  • Evaluate analytics in Shopify, Google Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager to identify and define user needs, pitfalls, and activities in digital and physical environments to create opportunities for clients to improve user experience and engagement
